The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) says the online pharmacy site,Zyban,is operating illegally, illegally selling and offering counterfeit products to people with health issues. NABP has issued a warning to people with pre-existing conditions, including depression, anxiety, and panic disorder, and has called for action from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy, the American Board of Psychiatry, the Canadian Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the New York State Board of Pharmacy.
The warning was added on June 6, 2021, by the New York State Board of Pharmacy. NABP states it is the first national NABP board that has approved the sale of counterfeit medicines. The NABP says this is “a matter of common concern.”
Zyban was founded in 2009 as a convenience-store pharmacy for a patient group of patients with certain conditions that include eating disorders and panic disorders. The pharmacy was owned by Eli Lilly and Company. Zyban is one of the few companies that has been licensed by the NABP to sell and supply drugs to people with medical conditions. The NABP said it had no plans to change its policies on Zyban and it was concerned that some people may be ordering fake medicines.
“Zyban is an online pharmacy,” said David S. Shomon, president of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. “It is not a traditional brickandmortar pharmacy, but it is an online marketplace.”
The NABP has identified several websites selling counterfeit medications, including the website of the American Board of Psychiatry, the American Board of Psychiatry’s Medical College and the National Board of Psychiatry. The NABP said it has identified the site as being “based in part on illegal and potentially dangerous drug websites.”
Sometime between January 2020 and December 2019, NABP began offering online and at the same time, NABP was adding a list of products that patients could order online, with the aim of promoting online access to and treatment of mental disorders.
Zyban’s website, which has been in operation for approximately five years, has been selling the following products in different countries:
The NABP said it is concerned that some people may be ordering fake medicines.
A person who has suffered a heart attack, stroke, liver failure or kidney failure or a history of suicidal thoughts or behaviors and is taking a form of medication known as a chemical, or an antidepressant, may be taking the drug at any time, including during the first 6 months of treatment. However, a person who is taking a drug known as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or an MAOI in the U. may be able to obtain a prescription for the drug from their doctor without having to get a doctor’s prescription.
The NABP said the U. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not yet issued a safety warning against the sale of the medication, but said it is concerned that some people may be ordering counterfeit medicines.
The FDA said that people with conditions that cause anxiety or depression should speak with a doctor before they take any medications, including Zyban. The FDA said the company said there may be an increased risk of suicide and suicidal thoughts in patients who take the medication. However, patients should never take the medication without first consulting a doctor.

I am not sure I have any of these symptoms, but I have been smoking for the past 6 years or so. My GP has suggested that I should be taking the lowest dose of Zyban to make sure I don't have any side effects from it. She has been taking it for years and I have found it has helped a great deal.
I take Zithromax every day as prescribed. I've read it is the only medication that has helped so much with these side effects. I have taken Zyban and had it reduced to the lowest dose of 2.5mg.
I have tried stopping Zyban but haven't been able to stop taking it, as I do not feel that the side effects are going to go away.
I am on the 4th line in the pharmacy. Can anyone tell me what I should do if I have questions or concerns about Zyban? What I should do about Zyban?
Thanks
I am in the USA, and have been on Zyban for over a year now.

I have been on Zyban for about a year. I haven't been able to get it to stop my weight gain but have tried stopping it, but my weight is still too high. I've read in the local newspaper about the Zyban being a "slimy" drug.
I have been on Zyban for about a year now. I've never tried it before, but I know how much it helps when I have a bad withdrawal.
How do you feel about going off the drug?
I am on the 4th line in the pharmacy, and the Zyban dose is the lowest I can find for Zyban. I have been on it for about a year. I've been on the 4th line in the pharmacy. I also have been on the 1st line. I have no weight gain at all, so I've never tried it.
If I don't stop it, I can try other forms of this drug.
I am also on the 1st line in the pharmacy. I have tried stopping it, but haven't been able to stop it.
I am also on the 4th line in the pharmacy.
I do have some questions, but I just want to know if there is a safer option.
